Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare conceptual designs. Prepare proposals. Estimate costs. Survey and assess designated sites. Read and interpret blueprints. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures. Plant and move trees. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youths. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .- LocationBrampton, ON
