*JOB TITLE: Manager*

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Interacting with customers (including serving food and drink)
* Ensuring that a high standard of customer service is always maintained
* Overseeing compliance with health and safety regulations (FOH and BOH) at all times
* Running promotional campaigns to market in-house products and events
* Collecting and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall experience for our guests
* Undertaking regular stock checks, placing orders with suppliers and restocking
* Ensuring regular maintenance of the premises, including cleaning and minor repairs
* Recruiting, training and managing staff
* Leading meetings to update and motivate staff members
* Monitoring profitability and performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
* Meeting with the management team to assess pub performance and set sales targets
* Ensuring that the pub adheres to various legal frameworks (liquor acts, safety, etc.)
* Other duties as assigned
*JOB QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
* Excellent staff management, motivation and leadership skills
* High level of timeliness and adhering to quality standards
* Strong working knowledge of POS systems and cash out procedures
* Experience with ordering and inventory
* Experience with scheduling, menu planning and forecasting
* Ability to respond positively to high pressure situations
* Firm understanding of Employment Standards
* Critical thinking and the ability to make decisive decisions
* Experience with Tock or equivalent reservation systems
* First Aid Level 1
* Wine Education (WSET 1 and WSET 2 preferred)
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a Management role in the Hospitality Industry
* Serving it Right
* Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
* Able to stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours) and lift upwards of 50 lbs
*SCHEDULE AND PAY:*
* Full-time
* Primarily closing shifts
* 45 hrs/week
* $50k-60k annual salary + tips
