Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Type of trucking and equipment: Refrigerated. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel cross-border. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: Will train.
