Calls on multiple customers to develop relationships and achieve maximum product sales.Position ResponsibilitiesDeliver the planned annual sales & profit targets across multiple customers while managing trade effectively.Work with direct guidance from manager as it relates to business planning and customer strategy.Execute assortment, pricing, and promotion plan to deliver agreed upon objectives.Execute business strategies and tactics as directed.Negotiate annual agreements, promo activity, listing fees, price increases & costing with customer.Create & present business reviews.Gain customer approval for in-store activation (displays, signs, etc.)Address retail pricing issues with customers.Manage routine demand and supply issues with customers.Communicate changes to CAG policy, discontinued items, pricing actions, recalls/product quality issues to customers.Ensuring new products are listed and distribution gaps are filled.Handle customer/consumer complaints.Input annual business plan in the Trade Management tool and maintain trade events in the tool.Provide project support for Team Lead and BDMs.Provide excellent customer service.Supervision:Reporting into the Senior BDMPotential Career Progression:Business Development Manager (move later)Market DevelopmentLateral Marketing roles within CAGPosition QualificationsBA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.1-year related experience. CPG preferred.A team player, with superior customer-service acumen and a demonstrated ability to network with other departments.Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)Experience with SAP (S4, TMA) preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem solving and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure.Excellent analytical skills and highly detail oriented.Sales planning and sales execution experience required.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications.
