Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. We are a startup, Complete business financial solutions company, Working mostly from home, with occasional in person team meetings, or customer meetings. We provide services to many different companies. Duties: - Prepare and submit tax documents. - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities - Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors - Complete tax preparation and compliance activities - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper financial controls are in place - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting. - Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
