Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems - Weld and fabricate parts as needed - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow Requirements: - Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively - Experience working with Caterpillar equipment is a plus - Basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals We offer competitive pay based on experience.
