Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Dental practice. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Prepare plaster models and moulds. Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases. Mould wax over dentures set-up. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Finish metal framework of dentures. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures. Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registration with provincial or territorial authorities. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
