Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Keep logs and maintain records. Train staff. Ensure safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes. Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Maintain and repair sports equipment. Train and supervise staff. Prepare reports. Understand principles of group dynamics. Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Patrolling/supervising activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
