We are currently looking for a Quality Control inspector for our facility in Brampton. The Quality Control inspector perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests throughout the entire production process in support of the Quality Management System (QMS). The candidate must monitor production quality throughout runs, ensuring products are within established standards and specifications, and report non-compliant products to supervisors. Having a good understanding of QMS, GMP's and food security, the Quality Control.
The responsibilities and tasks related to the job are :
· Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
· Assist in the setup and preparation of printing presses before production runs
· Follow bag machine operations and operate instructions and calibration, size requirements, and support equipment
· Interpret graphs and read various non-destructive quality control instruments such as thickness gauges, calipers etc
· Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and quantity and advise adjustments as needed
· Complete quality inspection sheet based on the dockets on daily basis
· Inspect printed materials for defects and inconsistencies
· Collaborate with senior pressmen to troubleshoot and address printing issues
? _Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines and report any safety concerns or issues to supervisors._
? Provide technical leadership in the areas of safety and quality systems
? Work closely with production staff concerning quality discrepancies and provide feedback in support of preventive and corrective action activities
? Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures to achieve quality assurance principles while complying with legal regulations
? Other duties as requested by supervisor

Salary: $19.80-$19.82 per hour
