Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Install vinyl decking materials. Report any malfunctions to supervisor. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationSurrey, BC
