Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate buses, school busses or streetcars to transport passengers. Provide sightseeing information. Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops. Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents. Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures. Deal with public. Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts. Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems. Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing street while bus is stopped. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Professionalism in customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C). Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses not paid by employer. Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Sitting. Work under pressure.
