Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Judgement. Organized. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationVancouver, BC
