Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Supply and empty bed pans. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Health Care Aide Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Immunization records. Tuberculosis test. Experience: Experience an asset. Health benefits: Health care plan.
