Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units. Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools. Remove and replace defective parts. Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Financial benefits: As per collective agreement.
