Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Help medical examiner in charge. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Construction specialization: Residential. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationCambridge, ON
