At SAV Electric Inc we are looking for a 309A Electrician - Construction and Maintenance. We are based out of the Durham region and work all through out the Durham and Greater Toronto Area. We are a growing electrical company that is very enthusiastic and looking for individuals with the same motivation and characteristics that is always willing to learn more about the electrical trade. We mainly do residential new construction and renovations, with some work in the commercial sector. Great career opportunity to grow within the company. We are currently searching for a responsible 309A Certified Electrician to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Candidates Daily Task and responsibilities will include: * Maintain and organize all job sites * Follow instructions and attention to detail * Troubleshooting, problem solving and repairing a wide variety of electrical components and in a wide variety of settings * Panel board changes, repairs and upgrades * Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations Successful Candidates will have the following qualifications: * A minimum of 1 year as a licensed 309A electrician * Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades * Very good understanding of the Ontario electrical code * Very high knowledge in the residential setting * Must have a clean driving record with a Class G License * Up to date with all licenses * Able to work well with alone and in a team environment * Must have own hand and power tools * Have basic understanding of an iPad The Qualified Candidate will receive: * Company Benefits * Company Vehicle * Company iPad * Competitive Wages * Company Credit Card Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Drivers Licence (required)- LocationOshawa, ON
