Be available for scheduled hours during weekends, evenings and holidays. * Develop chaplaincy services which initiate and maintain links to community resources. * Participate as an active member of Centre of Hope Case Management teams * Conduct Funerals and Memorial Services as required. * Respond in chaplaincy role to emergencies and crises as requested and lead debriefing sessions when necessary. * Provide weekly and monthly statistics as required * Other duties as required. *Qualifications and Education requirements: * _\*NOTE: For some jobs, you may be required to provide validated educational documentation. _ *Education/Certifications: * * Must be a High School Graduate * Must be ordained and have Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent (an alternative level of education and experience in Pastoral Care/Chaplaincy may be considered) * Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check is a requirement *Experience: * * At least 2 years? experience in Pastoral Care and/or Chaplaincy preferably in a social services setting * Experience dealing with mental health issues, substance use, addictions, death, dying, incarceration and family issues _In support of our commitment to a healthy and safe workplace and community, our centre has a vaccination requirement for all its employees.
