Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Additional Skills: Train or arrange for training. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Prepare and submit reports. Workers Supervised: Labourers in processing, manufacturing and utilities. Specific Skills: Set up machines and equipment. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Oversee safety of operations. Establish work schedules. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity. Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Ear plugs. Work Site Environment: Noisy. Dusty. Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people. Personal Suitability: Team player.
