Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Additional Skills: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Logical approach for troubleshooting. Complete test and maintenance reports. Coach and instruct apprentices. Read and interpret blueprints. Specific Skills: Remove and replace defective parts. Repair and adjust system components. Install new measuring instruments. Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems. Determine testing and maintenance procedures. Calibrate components and instruments. Security and Safety: Criminal record check. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sound discrimination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Overtime required. Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Team player. Excellent oral communication. Organized.- LocationHamilton, ON
