First Aid Certificate. Experience: Experience an asset. Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications. Organize and maintain inventory. Clean work area. Application Methods: Hand-held spray guns. Airless gravity pump. Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Type of Product: General metal products. Construction materials or coatings. Specific Skills: Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings. Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat. Select appropriate paint or mix paints. Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products. Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes. Clean and maintain equipment. Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices. Surface Preparation Methods: Sandblasters. Masking. Chemical techniques. Work Site Environment: Confined spaces.
