Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Air Brakes Endorsement. Documentation Knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Driver logbook. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Specific Skills: Perform preventive maintenance. Perform brake adjustments. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Criminal record check. Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border. Willing to travel for extended periods. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel internationally. Work Location Information: Various locations. Type of Trucking and Equipment: Flatbed. Tractor-trailer A train.
