Developmental services worker¿(DSW)¿Training. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Specific Skills: Provide job training and support. Instruct in the use of rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices and wheelchairs. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Assess individuals in areas such as physical limitations, orientation and mobility skills, and cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish client rehabilitation or adaptation goals. Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs. Target Audience: Adults. Persons who are intellectually impaired. Persons with physical disabilities.
